Comments about Isotherm Compact 2301 Refrigeration Kit:
We are very happy with the results of this icebox refridgeration kit. I was a little worried about the installation, as I thought I was over my head in abilities, but within 6 hours, we were up and running. Just take your time and think it over. The most time consumming procedure was the installation of the evaporator unit. Within 1 hour, the 5 cu.ft. enclosure dropped from 78F to 45F. The ice-box itself will easily make ice cubes. Just make sure the thermostat end tube sensor is mounted on the evaporator, as this is barely mentioned in the installation manual. The compressor is whisper quiet, we barely hear it night or day.
