Comments about Sea Shield Marine Shaft Anode, 3/4" Shaft, 1 Lenght, 7/8" O.d., 0.065 Lb.:

I highly recommend Sea Shield. I own and operate a professional hull cleaning service and would highly recommend Sea Shield as they are easy to install, stay tight, last well and are easy to monitor. They have recently added thin plastic to keep you from loosing the bolts when installing underwater.

Comments about Sea Shield Marine Shaft Anode, 3/4" Shaft, 1 Lenght, 7/8" O.d., 0.065 Lb.:

I have tried these anodes several times in the past. They are USA made, which is the only good thing about them. When the bolts are backed off before application, the nuts fall off. If you are doing this in the water, this is a serious problem. Fewer bolts mean the zinc decays faster around the retaining holes and the zinc falls off.
