Comments about Tropical Teak Oil Sealer:

You need: cheap paint brush, paper towel, rag, patiently apply thin coats, wipe with rag to ensure even coverage & removal of excess product. Apply to totally dry wood. Allow complete drying between coats. Just touch up throughout the entire season.

Comments about Tropical Teak Oil Sealer:

Used this product for the first time based on positive internet reviews. As somebody else said "varnish can look fabulous but the sealer looks good". And it is. If you after mirror like surface use varnish but if you are after easy application and maintenance this product is for you. The surface looks very much like interior oiled teak. Applies like oil too. Easy cleanup. Excellent coverage. Took only a couple of tablespoons for two layers on caprail. And, unlike varnish, two layers was all I needed. Failed varnish needs to be stripped . I expect I would only have to wash the teak down and re-apply sealer when the time comes.

Comments about Tropical Teak Oil Sealer:

I have always had varnish, but someone convinced me to try this. Varnish is amazing, but this does a good job at making your wood look natural. I've only had it on for three weeks but it looks good (not great like varnish).

Comments about Tropical Teak Oil Sealer:

The classic version gives a beautiful warm appearance even on weathered, grey teak. Much more durable and longer lasting then oil or sealers. Very easy to apply. Gives a hand oiled appearance. Absolutely nothing like it on the market for exterior teak rails and teak decks, and I'v tried them all.
