Comments about Star Brite Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:

I purchased this for my awning for my trailer and it was like a miracle worker. it completely stopped all the leaks and kinda filled in all the little pin holes from small branches that fall from the trees. but I absolutely love this stuff. Very very good product. I even have two friends that asked if I would pick them up a couple bottles for there awnings.

Comments about Star Brite Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:

Used this on two different 1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible Tops.

One was leaking badly and the other got soaked with the rain, but hadn't leaked through yet.

On both cars, I used the Sail Cleaner first, let it dry in the sun, then applied the Waterproofer with a brush. The first coat soaked into the cloth roof, so I used a lot of product. The second coat got a whole lot more coverage with each dip of the brush.

Water beads up nicely now, and it brought a grey dingy top to it's original black color.

              What more do you want?

I purchased this product based on reviews read online, what a mistake. Product was used to treat 2 OEM PWC covers (which cost $250 each). After applying as directed both covers desintegrated! Product was expensive to begin with, very expensive after replacing the 2 covers it destroyed! I would advise trying any other available product prior to this stuff.

We use this on the sunbrella fabric on our sailboat that spends the winter in Bahamas and summer in Chesapeake Bay. Need to apply and let dry before a storm, but works great

I have a 13 year old BMW Convertible and the canvas top has been starting to leak during heavy rain. I tried other brands like Raggtop and they didn't fix the problem. After applying one coat of this product and letting it dry for a couple of days, it is totally waterproof again. The water just beads off. I use this stuff on all my outdoor clothing but need to let it dry outside the house for 2 full days because the odor is enough to choke you.

Hate that when you get home and go to use a pump spray and the pump is broken. Lucky I keep some spare sprayers or a trip back to store would have been needed.

Followed the directions and applied it to my bimini top. With the first rainfall, and it was a heavy rain, the water went right through the fabric and throughout the cockpit. This is the 4th season for the bimini and we applied the product since we were noticing some minor seepage earlier in the boating season. Absolute failure of the product.

So far I have used this on the following fabrics: nylon, polyester, and Sunbrella materials. The Starbrite Waterproofing was a huge success! I allowed to cure for 72 hours for best results. Excellent water repellant, brought back the color of fabrics after fading in sun, overall improvement to all fabrics mentioned above. I plan to continue using this for all of my waterproofing needs.
                                    Excellent product!! Reasonably priced!
