Boating

San Diego boasts 70 miles of coastline, tidepools and three harbors to explore by boat. From the rugged Point Loma peninsula to the salt marshes of South Bay, there are endless places to launch, sail and cruise. We have the largest selection of boating supplies for trailering, maintenance, safety equipment, sailing gear and more. We can also help outfit you with the correct life vests.

Rigging

San Diego is home to one of eight West Marine Rigging Shops. Since 1993, we have been providing sailors with high-quality custom rigging assemblies. Our trained and certified master riggers can tackle any rigging task using our premium selection of line and rigging hardware that is guaranteed to deliver superior performance.

Fishing

Sport fisherman from around the world come to San Diego’s warm waters in search of the next big one. Paddling and Kayaking

Mission Bay has the largest aquatic park in the United States with more than 27 miles of shoreline, and hosts a number of paddling competitions. Racers or weekend paddlers turn to West Marine for all their stand-up paddleboard needs. Kayakers can choose from a full assortment of kayaks and kayak gear to explore the area’s islands, lagoons and harbors.
