You do not have to create an account to check out, but here are a few reasons why you might decide to:
Time - Instead of having to enter all of your personal information every time you shop, all you will have to do is sign-in.
Order History - You will have visibility to the orders that you have placed on-line or over the phone.
West Advantage - You can view your West Advantage points and print out your West Advantage Certificates on-line. Click here to learn more.
Address Book - You will be able to store all of your different shipping addresses and be able to easily choose from them at check-out.
Create an Account now.
At the top of any screen, click on the Sign In link then click on the Create an Account button. If you have items in your shopping cart, don't worry, the items will remain in your cart as you complete registration. A registration form will open and there are required fields.
If you are West Advantage member you can link your online account to your West Advantage account. Enter your West Advantage member number in the Member Number field. If you aren’t a member click on the Learn More link to learn about all the benefits membership has to offer.
Once you have all the information entered, click Submit. The Screen will refresh and bring you to the My Account page. When you visit us in the future your email address and password will be used to access your account.
If you ever forget your password please use our Forgot your Password option. If you are still having difficulties creating an account call us or send an email to wmcustomerservice@westmarine.com
From any page click the Sign In button in the top navigation bar.
Enter your email address and password in the fields provided. Click the Sign In button once all the infomation is entered. Remember passwords are case sensitive.
If you still can’t sign in click the Forgot your Password link. The screen will refresh and there will be a field to enter your email address. This is the email address that you used to create your account.
Once you have entered your email address click Send me my password. An email will be sent to the address you entered. It will provide you with a temporary password. Please use this password to sign in to your online account. Once signed in you will be prompted to reset your password.

After you have signed in to your account the screen will refresh to display My Account Summary. There is a left hand navigation bar that helps you make all the updates to your account.
My Info - Click this option if you want to reset your password, update you billing address, opt in/out of receiving promotional emails, or update your boating information.
My Address Book - When you click on this option your default address will be displayed. You will have the option to identify the address as your billing, shipping, or both. Need to add another address to your account click the Add New button. The screen will refresh for you to enter in the new address. You will need to name each address you enter into the address book.
My List - View all the items that you have added to your wish list.
My Orders - Use this option to view orders that you have placed online. The screen will display the order, status and tracking information if available.
