West Marine announced the grand opening celebration of its Olympia, Washington store from Friday, March 18th through Sunday, March 20th. The location of this West Marine is 1530 Black Lake Blvd at the Olympia West Center with the grand opening events taking place from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sunday.

This brand new store is 7,600 square feet and is stocked with an increased selection of maintenance, fishing, trailer, and sailboat hardware to serve the needs of Olympia-area residents. The crew of seven Associates has more than 150 years of combined boating, sailing and fishing experience and has cruised over 215,000 nautical miles.

Store Manager, Beth Mason ran the Island Sailing Club, raced in New Zealand and owned a sailboat for over seven years. In her free time Beth enjoys exploring the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island. The rest of the team has extensive experience, including Andy Scott who has been a professional fishing guide for 15 years.

"All of us at the new Olympia West Marine are keenly focused on serving the needs of South Sound boaters," says Store Manager Beth Manson.  "Customer Service is our top priority, as well as making sure we're stocked with products our customers need to have a great day out on the water."

Grand opening events at the new location are scheduled for March 18- 20, 2011.
