Grand Opening: The West Marine Store in Somers Point will have its Grand Opening Celebration of its newly expanded store from Friday, July 13 – Sunday, July 15. Responding to the needs of local boaters, the store has been expanded to 8,000 square feet with a large selection of saltwater fishing gear picked especially for local customers. The crew of the Somers Point West Marine consists of 14 Associates who have a combined 411 plus years of boating, fishing and sailing experience.
Doors open at 8 a.m. on Friday and festivities continue all weekend with activities, extraordinary discounts and prize giveaways. Events to take place at the Somers Point West Marine Grand Opening:
- High tech electronic demonstrations by Garmin, Raymarine and Simrad
- Fishing tips and tricks from Henry’s Tackle
- Expert Advice from USCG Auxiliary and Somers Point Office of Emergency Management
- Door-Buster Deals throughout the weekend
- Raffle prizes and giveaways
- Hot dogs 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
