These chairs truly open up the use for cuddy bows ... To sit at low speed traveling and especially when at anchor or docked. We have a bow sunpad but these chairs open up the use of the bow everywhere else. If you love backrest, these are a must have.

We bought these chairs to use on the bow of our Searay 340 Sundancer. They are perfect.
Pros
- Very comfy
Cons
- Absorbs H2O like a sponge
- Open cell foam
Best Uses
- Reading on bow
Great for sitting on the bow, but when my wife got up in 10 kts of wind it blew into the water. We fished it out and the foam absorbed water like a sponge! It weighed about 30 lbs with all the water it soaked up. It's been a week now and still can't get it dry. Took it all apart and wrung about 5 gals out of it. Left it in the sun, still wet. I put the foam in dryer for a total of 2 hrs. and it is still not dry! The seat is very comfy, but I can't believe it's not made with a closed cell foam.
Pros
- can be used anywhere
- Easy to store
- Lasting comfort
Cons
- Little Heavy

We primarily use these chairs on the bow of our boat as it does not have a built in sun pad. They can also be used on bench seats at sporting events.
