installed a pair of these into our cockpit. unfortunately they leak when in rain down into the cabins below. A real pain, need to replace. The sound was also pretty poor, we needed to really crank up the stereo to where it was audible. If your going to put another hole in your boat, put something good into it.

The speakers are with good quality sound and strength. They were all right for the first year and a half with one draw back - the speakers sound is as strong forward as it is on the back side, thus making it quite loud inside the boat. After about a year and half, the face began to deteriorate by the sun and now after 2.5 year the face is completely broken and must be replaced.

These are good quality speakers that I use -- not only on my boat -- but in exterior locations around my property. They are very impervious to the effects of the weather and sound really good. And, of course, the service and shipping speed from West is always excellent.
