Comments about Deluxe Stainless Steel Rail Mounts:
Work from my sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay so a good internet connection is essential. Bought this to mount a new external antenna for my broadband USB modem used with my Cradlepoint router. This is a rock solid mount but it is expensive. I discovered later that there's a plastic version that's much less expensive... I have no regrets though. Mounting was a bit painful. The stainless steel strap is a bit difficult to conform to the tubing because of its stiffness. It's difficult to get the screw aligned with the holding nut to get it threaded. I finally used two large pliers to shape and conform the strap around the tubing before trying to bolt on the mount. Now that it's mounted, I'm sure it will far outlast the boat. Rated 4 stars because of cost and a bit tricky to mount.
