Comments about Radio Mount, Universal:
I bought this for our commercial fishing boat. We had previously had a smaller, more streamlined version of the same thing, which was perhaps a tad more handsome in design. While this version is a bit chunkier, it's tidier in the end, as the unused stereo wires and connections can be tucked inside the enclosure instead of hanging out of the back. I'm not sure that this would hack it if it were truly installed outdoors (our is mounted on the ceiling just inside of the galley door) but hey, it's Alaska, and it's salty, and it's wet. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to mount a stereo in a slightly protected area that may still be catching the occasional splash or spray.

Comments about Radio Mount, Universal:
It's a pretty handy solution if the best place to mount your stereo happens to be beneath an overhang as is the case on my boat. It keeps you from having to do a lot of custom work yourself, but I actually ended up not using it for a couple of reasons. First of all, I wasn't really thrilled w/ the aesthetics. -just plain black plastic. -looks a little cheap if you have a nicely appointed interior. But, I was willing to live w/ it considering its convenience. My primary dissapointment was its size. On a boat, every inch matters and this thing has a huge cavity. They may have done this for "proper" venting of the stereo, but it's overkill if you ask me. -going to design something that's nice and tidy as well as more attractive.

Comments about Radio Mount, Universal:
This mount is great for getting your stereo out of the way by mouting it under a dash or shelf. It is universal and fit my stereo perfect. The black finish blends in with any boat design.
