    Comments about Sail Palm:

The palm is essential for passing thread through multiple layers of canvas and sail cloth. The leather around the thumb allows for tight seizing without blisters or cuts.

THe palm comes in one fixed size. It would be great if there were an adjustable strap across the back instead of a solid piece of leather.

        Comments about Sail Palm:

I'm a professional sailmaker, so i spend a lot of time at the bench hand-sewing. I typically use a medium-weight palm at work and wanted to pick up something lighter for around the house, or what-have-you.

I've only put a needle through a palm once before (and that's when i broke the needle in half). this palm makes it very hard to not put a needle through the palm; it's fairly flimsy, and the cup is in the wrong place/angle. only useful for EXTREMELY light work (most likely size 18 needles or smaller)
