This is by far the best product I have ever used. I use the 3M Cleaner and Wax each spring to make my 99 Sea Ray look almost brand new. It is best applied with a damp kitchen sponge, spread thin, then buffed away with a variable speed buffer (Makita?) with a 6" wool buffing pad. You need to inititate the buffing procedure while the product is still wet on the surface, once it dries it is not as effective. Thus, do small areas (maybe 3' to 4' sections on your hull at a time). I am extremely picky about how my boat looks and this product is the best i have ever used. Have been using it on my Sea Ray for 8 years now......

I have used this to restore the gelcoat on two boats that I have owned.The first boat was bad enough to have to wet sand some areas and buff with heavy rubbing compound then the cleaner wax to bring back the gloss. The second boat only needed the cleaner wax to bring it back to almost new luster. best results are with a buffer and wool pad. It also cleans stains off by hand very well.

I had a moderate/heavily oxidized boat and used this to clean it up a bit. It took 3 coats/passes to turn my red gelcoat from pinkish back to red. I probably should have gotten the restorer wax instead since the oxidation was worse than I thought. If you have light oxidation this product will do great I am sure. I also used it on the white of my boat which I had used 3M Imperial compound on with a rotary buffer. The cleaner wax gave it gloss and evened out the swirl marks a bit. The oxidation before the compound and wax was REALLY bad, but now my boat looks presentable.

I use this product on my saltwater flats boat that I use often and let sit in the Florida sun. This wax is great for removing stains, light oxidation, as well as seving as a protective coat.One coat protects about 6 months, 2 coats last a little longer.

Worked great on smooth surface. The non skid surface plugged up the buffer pad alot so I used a different product. Took the oxidation away really well and cleaned dirty areas great. Left a really nice shine when done.

This is the most inaccurately described item I have purchased. The reviews must be written by the sales people. It is hard to put on, does not remove even the easiest scuff marks on the boat and does not shine well at all. Would never use it or recommend it. Use starbrite product, its much easier to apply and actually works.

Use compound product first if your boat is older or really oxidized then use this for a nice shine and protectant.
