Quiet and compact, this fan provides air flow equal to much larger units, yet
it draws a minuscule 0.5A. The two-speed motor creates minimal electronic
interference so you can safely mount this fan on the bridge or at the nav
station. It comes with a screw-down mount and also includes a suction cup mount
so you can move it about your boat. An optional clothespin-style mount allows
additional mounting versatility. Includes a 6' cord with cigarette-lighter-style
plug.

Comments about Caframo Two Speed Compact 12V DC Fan:
Have 6 of these onboard, great fans, but the new ones come with a suction cup that is much too stiff to use. The older ones had a great suction cup (black) that would hold on any smooth surface. If you use the included permanent mount or optional clamps then fine but the new suction mounts are useless

Comments about Caframo Two Speed Compact 12V DC Fan:
I'm shocked that people like this dangerous fan. Who could have designed an open blade fan with an off switch in the rear ? Try shutting it off in the dark. Or change speed. Two thumbs down

Suction base allows it to be placed most anywhere in the cabin. It also comes with a fixed mount but, even then it can be rotated as needed.

Comments about Caframo Two Speed Compact 12V Fan:
Have only used the fan once as a defroster for the boat windshield. All worked well. I did NOT use the suction cup so will not comment on that but all else works well.
It is not pushing a great amount of air but for my intended use it is working well as it is quiet and moves just about the correct amount on air to keep the fog at bay.

Quality looks good - bought as a spare part.
Fan is working ok so the review may need to be months/years down the road.
Appears to be good.

Comments about Caframo Two Speed Compact 12V Fan:
This is a great 12V fan, lightweight and finger friendly. It comes with a suction cup mount and a fixed mount and can be adjusted on both the horiztontal and vertical axis.
I tried this out overnight and found the 2 speed fan function great. Full speed to cool down (quite noisy) and then the slower speed at night.
If you do wake up and accidentally hit the blades you'll get a fright but you won't cut anything!
Highly recommended
