I chose ACR due to their renowned reputation. This plb seems very easy to use and has met my initial expectations - hopefully I never have to deploy the beacon! The promotion was a plus - it never hurts to have another strobe and first aid/ survival kit on the boat...

the product worked very well when I tested its operation. Documentation was good.
I was less satisfied with the 406Link.com service which sent text to my specifed mobile phone but failed to send email notice asit was supposed to do

i curse single handed around se florida and the Bahamas, and i have peace of mind to have it with me, as well as , giving my children the same , to know where I am that that all is well.
