Pros
- Durable
- Easy To Set Up
Cons
- No Screws Included
Best Uses
- Coax Pass Through
Comments about Coax Cable Deck Fittings:
I needed this for my new VHF antenna cable pass-through. It works well. I do wish that the rubber grommet would seal to a smaller diameter that it currently does. I needed the larger size due to my coax connecter, but as a result the seal around the cable is not water tight.
Pros
- Inexpensive
- Simple Design
Cons
- Connector must be removed
Best Uses
Comments about Coax Cable Deck Fittings:
This bulkhead pass-through works, and is inexpensive. But since most antennas come prewired with a terminated cable, the connector must be removed and then replaced in order to use this pass-through. It would be nice if the hex fitting in the center was removable and of a two piece clamshell design, so the antenna cable wouldn't have to be reterminated.
