Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
I use this in my boat's cabin, hooked into a 1500W generator. No problems with it tripping the breaker. I like the low profile and sturdy footing. It warmed up the cabin on a low setting. Haven't had it long enough to report on corrosion or other exposure issues.

Cons

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
I went through 3 of these in one winter season. They would start to get noisy and then quit. Given the poor durability, I got concerned about electric fires and would never have one on my boat again.

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
I love the design of this heater because the low center of gravity means I don't have to stow it when I go sailing. However, it last about a year before dying. I am a liveaboard, so I probably used it more than most, but I expected better. I don't think it is worth the premium you pay over other heaters.

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
Small and compact heater with many heat settings.
You stand it on its side or place it flat on a surface, it heats great. Use it in a Class A motorhome for aux heat, it small size and high output works excellent for us. When not camping, leave in on a low setting to circulate the air in the MH and control moisture. Great product, would recommend to anyone

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
I've had to replace mine twice. WM has been good about warranty, but when a heater won't last more than six months, something is wrong with the design.

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
Bought this as a liveaboard thinking it would last a long time in the marine environment. Worked for 8 months then the motor froze up. Replaced with a $20 heater at [@] which works just as well. Not worth the premium IMO.

We use in on the brige in the winter with the windows pulled down. Makes a nice warm area to entertain and enjoy the night. Very quite and maintains temp. very well.

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
Just does not last. Two years is about the limit. Works well as long as it last. I'm now in the market for a more modern ceramic heater

Comments about Portable Cabin Heater:
this heater works great. I have even used it in FEB. on our 33 foot sail boat on the cheasepeake and stayed nice and toasty. my old heater only kicked the bucket after over 10 years because of human error.(it was totaly drenched for about 1 month)I replaced it with the same product because I am sure it will still be working in another 10 years!

All you need to do is, plug in and set the temperature to the desired comfort level. 3 units will maintain my 37 Caver cabins and salon no problem in the DC area.
