I bought this unit because it was advertised to include (major) Canadian lakes. I live on Shuswap lake, which I think would be considered "major." However, the only lakes that have any details provided are those touching the US border. North of this, no details at all. And further than about 75 miles from the US border, there are no lakes shown. None (in BC anyway).

I love this unit. It is easy to install ( it only took about an hour), easy to use, great charts of Canadain waters. How can you go wrong everything you need for one great price!

this little unit is an excelent buy. The charts once you tell the unit to read the navionics and not the lowrance charts it provides you with great detail for Canadian waters. The only con is that you have to keep telling the unit to read the navionics and not lowrance every time you turn the unit on.

The fish finder/depth sounder work great.... maps included do not work so unsure at this point in time.
Service and delivery comments:
After spending a considerable amount of time comparing units from different companies I settled on this on as it was advertised on the website as having maps (charts) for all US and Canadian coastal waters and being I am on the West coast of BC I thought it would be a good purchase. Only once the unit was installed on my boat did I realize that the charts would only reach just past Vancouver going North hundreds of Miles from were I live and once I contacted the company about this I was told to bad even though it was advertised I was out of luck so for any Canadians purchasing this product you should ensure you are getting the maps (charts) you are expecting otherwise you will be out a considerable for another set of charts that are not there.
