I am renewing all my lures including some I inherited from my father. The pliers have saved me a world of time. I haven't been on the water since I got them, I could see their value in time saved. Be sure all your hooks are split ring attached.

These pliers do the job and they don't rust up. I fish in salt for salmon, an d need pliers that have good features. I also fish fresh water for salmon - and need good pliers for river fishing. These fit the bill for both situations. Even has a lead-punch for dealing with pencil lead
