The Bait Sentrys magnetically driven impeller moves large quantities of water and handles solid debris without motor damage. If the impeller locks up, magnets break free, saving the motor from burnout. This pump design also features an automatic purge which protects against airlock. A second 1/2" inlet port provides a raw water connection to a wash-down pump. 24-hour dry run time.

Comments about Shurflo Bait Sentry Pumps:
I have had two of these fail on me. There is a small magnet inside that shatters after a couple of years. The manufacturer won't sell parts for these so instead of a 5 dollar repair, you have to buy a whole new pump.
