Comments about ExterminOdor Tank Treatment:
My head now smells minty fresh. That's the idea. Note: I am on a fresh water lake.

Comments about ExterminOdor Tank Treatment:
I've used West Marines Exterminodor for a long time. I really like how long it lasts and how well it keeps the smells down.
However, I am treating some sludge buildup in my holding tank with a bacteria/enzyme treatment and I'm wondering if this is compatible. It doesn't say anything about being safe to use with this type of treatment, but it also says it doesn't use a formaldehyde base. A little clarity on this product would be much appreciated!
Pros
- Easy to use
- Pleasant smell
Cons
- Stains easily
Best Uses
- Large Boat
Comments about ExterminOdor Tank Treatment:
Very easy to use, just pour in head and add water. You need to be diligent about cleaning spills as it does stain if left on light surfaces for more than a few minutes. Very happy with the results. Much cheaper than buying the individual bottles although I must admit that I like the convenience of the individual bottles a little better.

Merchant response: ExterminOdor and an enzyme/bacteria treatment are not compatible as they use competing technologies. To switch from ExterminOdor to an enzyme/bacteria treatment requires a thorough tank flush before starting fresh with the new treatment. You can go, however, from an enzyme/bacteria treatment to ExterminOdor with no flush. Our West Advisor on Head & Holding Tank Treatments is available here -- http://bit.ly/PcSk7d
