I bought this bell as a Christmas gift for my brother and sister-in-law for the summer house that we share together on Lake Superior. We're all sailors and we needed a doorbell for our cottage, so this seemed like the perfect gift, and it was! Not only is the bell beautiful, but the package it comes in is very elegant, making it a great-looking gift. We're looking forward to putting it on the front of our cottage this summer.

Delivery was prompt and the product arrived in good condition. However, I received a bill from FedEx that was about half the price of the Bell. I am not happy about that at all.

Gift for my son who is a Captain in the USMC. Navy Officer Clubs traditionally have a brass bell at the bar for ceremonial and novelty purposes. Made for a welcome decor addition to his bar. Product is quality crafted and looks great!

This is a very functional ship's bell, but it also makes a great gift. It comes in a very nice, lined box that gives it a very personal touch when giving it as a gift. For functionality, the bracket is a separate mount so that the bell can be stowed while underway but easily hung in the event of fog.
