Compact in profile and extremely bright, these palm-sized strobes deliver 250,000 peak lumens in a 360° spread offering maximum rescue visibility. Waterproof to 33'/10m, they can be seen up to three miles on a clear, dark night. They flash at one-second intervals for at least eight hours with two AA alkaline batteries (not included). The Firefly3 is a manually activated rescue strobe light. The Waterbug™ is a water-activated rescue strobe light. The Doublefly™ is a manually activated rescue strobe light and an incandescent light. Attach easily to any vest with integral lashing loops. One year warranty.

I bought two of these about four years ago for our ditch bag. Despite being sealed up, dry and with regular battery replacement, one failed. It's hard to justify the cost.
