We use this on the sunbrella fabric on our sailboat that spends the winter in Bahamas and summer in Chesapeake Bay. Need to apply and let dry before a storm, but works great

Comments about Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:
I have a 13 year old BMW Convertible and the canvas top has been starting to leak during heavy rain. I tried other brands like Raggtop and they didn't fix the problem. After applying one coat of this product and letting it dry for a couple of days, it is totally waterproof again. The water just beads off. I use this stuff on all my outdoor clothing but need to let it dry outside the house for 2 full days because the odor is enough to choke you.

Hate that when you get home and go to use a pump spray and the pump is broken. Lucky I keep some spare sprayers or a trip back to store would have been needed.

Comments about Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:
Followed the directions and applied it to my bimini top. With the first rainfall, and it was a heavy rain, the water went right through the fabric and throughout the cockpit. This is the 4th season for the bimini and we applied the product since we were noticing some minor seepage earlier in the boating season. Absolute failure of the product.

Comments about Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:
So far I have used this on the following fabrics: nylon, polyester, and Sunbrella materials. The Starbrite Waterproofing was a huge success! I allowed to cure for 72 hours for best results. Excellent water repellant, brought back the color of fabrics after fading in sun, overall improvement to all fabrics mentioned above. I plan to continue using this for all of my waterproofing needs.
Excellent product!! Reasonably priced!

Comments about Waterproofing & Fabric Treatment with PTEF:
I applied this product to my ski boat cover that was looking a little tired. Very easy to apply with a disposable spray bottle. Very little mess. The overspray did make the garage floor a little slick for a while. Biggest plus so far is that it seemed to renew the look of the cover. It went back to black from a little faded. Short term waterproofing is fantastic. We'll see how it fairs through the season.

Easy to Use, Maintains Boat Cover for years.
It would be nice if it was more economical.
