Comments about Gasoline Spin On Replacement Filter:
I utilize Racor filters on my boats with outboards, inboards, and I/O's. I have always had excellent results in the way that they filter the fuel and seperate out the water and definitely add life to the motors. If you use the UL versions though the metal bowls can be tough to remove (Oil Filter Pliers work great)so you want to make sure you lube the o-rings. These units can also be tricky to reinstall as they have to be lined up on the money they don't allow room for error to prevent cross threading so it usually takes me two to three tries (they will come right off though once mounted)again lube the o-rings!

Comments about Gasoline Spin On Replacement Filter:
We use the Racor fuel filters on our 50 foot houseboat, to filter the fuel for two Mercury Bigfoot 60 HP EFI outboard engines. We have had very good results, and the filters on the engines do not have to be replaced/cleaned because the Racor filters do such a good job. We have removed and inspected them and there is no sediment or contanimants in them whatsoever.

Comments about Gasoline Spin On Replacement Filter:
Have been using this filter for six years. Each year a problem with leakage at sight bowl. Last year the plastic threads cracked on the element causing a leak midway thru season. And yes I greased the O-ring.
