Comments about Hoister Four Point Lift System:
We have a very large artificial Christmas tree that needed to be stored. We tried cheaper ceiling hoists and they failed. This did the trick, the tree is hanging in the garage rafters and is out of our way until next Christmas. We wrapped a truck bed net around the tree bag and attached net to the hoist. Should work for any variety of items that need to stored, not just watercraft.

Comments about Hoister Four Point Lift System:
This is a great hoist. I use it to hoist my 10 ft. 100 pound dinghy up and out of the way in my garage. The installation seemed daunting at first but easy to follow instructions made it go quite smoothly. Works like a charm. I can't remember the last time I was so pleased with a product.

Comments about Hoister Four Point Lift System:
I installed the 4-point version of this system in about 3 hours. Due to the clearance about my garage door to the ceiling, I couldn't install the cross-beams on the garage ceiling. I needed to put cross beams in my garage attic to support the load of my kayak. But once I was done with that, it only took about an hour to put the system into place. It works great. The kayak comes down easily, and is easy to stow. I have about 1" of clearance when the garage door goes up! It makes great use of what is otherwise wasted space. I would definitely recommend this product. I'm actually about to buy another one for my other kayak.

Comments about Hoister Four Point Lift System:
We purchased two of these to store our kayak and canoe overhead in our garage. The product is very well constructed and the directions were clear. The boats store almost flush to the ceiling when hoisted which provides plenty of clearance below. The only difficulty we had was getting the straps and pulleys adjusted properly to ensure a smooth hoist. This was much easier to do on the second boat after having learned from the first. Both were installed in less than 2.5 hrs. I highly recommend this product.
