Legendary for smooth, positive operation when holding and releasing control lines, Harken ball bearing cam cleats engage and release easily, and work with a wide range of line types and sizes. Delrin® ball bearings allow pawls to open and close effortlessly under both high and low loads; just pull the line straight down, and the cam opens and holds perfectly.
Cam-Matics®
Cam-Matics feature Hardkote anodized aluminum pawls, three rows of ball bearings (two on the 338), and are designed for high-load, high wear applications.
Carbo-Cams®
Perfect for racing boats. Lightweight and small, Carbo-Cams feature carbon-matrix pawls and two rows of UV-protected black ball bearings.
Flairleads
Lightweight fiber-reinforced Flairleads feature stainless wearguards for long life, and are made in a variety of colors for color-coding your controls.
X-Treme Angle Fairleads

I needed something for my 1/8" anchor ropes for my kayak. Before, I was just clamping the rope. I got two of the cleats and mounted them on the groove track of my kayak so I can slide them forward or back depending on how I will be kayaking that day.
They are simple to use and secure my anchor ropes quickly. I could use something even smaller but these micro cleats work well.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used it for the tiller tamer in my Catalina 14.2, it help me to maintain the course while I need to use my both ands.
