Needs to come with a stainless steel backing plate for mounting. I can easily get the right bolts, nuts and washers, but having to make up a plate meant that I could not install this ladder myself without a trip to the welding shop.

Had to build a shim to install the ladder at the correct angle. 10degree shim provided was not enough.

This product is very well made and is easy to use.
The mount to the boat is easy and the angle is perfect. Well made and well designed. There is nothing I can say that is negative about this ladder. I purchased the 4 step,white one and it is fantastic. Thank-You- West Marine.

Nuts and bolts not included, also a small tube of marine caulking would be appropriate for an item of this price.
