This whipping thread is more brown than gold. It doesn't match the color of my gold/white dock lines at all.

I use it for finishing ends of lines. After whipping the ends, I use the West Marine Liquid Rope Whipping stuff to cap the cut line end just outside the twine whipping.
Service and delivery comments:
Arrived quickly. A little pricey for shipping because I just needed twine, so I ordered different diameters and colors. Will not run out for years!
