This large, 6' diameter, wind-driven rotator keeps gulls from roosting on hardtops, awnings, biminis, flying bridges, sail booms and decks-and eliminates the mess they create. Powered by the slightest breeze, its motion deters even the most determined bird. Installation is easy and so is removal whenever you want to use your boat. Folds in half for compact storage and includes Standard Two-Screw Mounting Block. Optional mounts are sold separately, including Rail Clamps for railing or pipe, and Sand Bag Flex Mount for placement on irregular canvas or other surfaces.

I wish I had found this 30 years ago. People on our lake have tried everything to keep ducks of rafts all to no avail. There our now over a dozen of these in our cove alone and the number will continue to grow. Great product!

most items in the West Marine store are not geared toward fresh water use but this gull sweep has worked fantastic in keeping ducks off of our raft that is on an inland lake. People on lakes try all kinds of things to keep ducks off thier rafts, flags, string, owls, etc. but the gull sweep works the best...

After spending a weekend cleaning gull poop off the bimini on my pontoon and trying other deterrents, I bought two gullsweeps. These work as advertised and I have not issues with gulls since I put them up. I originally bought the large bimini mounts but decided to mount the sweeps to two "Ls" made of conduit that were then mounted on the dock. This allows me to drive in and out without having to take the sweeps down.

Overall, a very good product. Works well for keeping the seagulls off my canvas T-top. Tried others, owls etc., but this one works the best.

over all it is worth the money if you ever had to clean up canvas after the gulls attacked it you know what i am talking about.
