Description



This trusted varnish produces beautiful results!

Formulated with a high solids content of Chinese tung oil, combined with non-yellowing, modified alkyd resins and blended with a perfect balance of UV absorbers. It provides high build and superior gloss, flow and durability. Excellent flexibility and water resistance in all climates.

  • Recommended Usage: Exterior or interior, above water
  • Formulation: Traditional alkyd, 64% solids
  • Additives: UV inhibitors
  • Application Methods: Brush, roll or spray
  • Drying Time: Tack free: 4 hrs.; overcoat: 24 hrs. @ 65°F 65%RH
  • Number of Coats Recommended: Bare wood: 7 or 8 coats
  • Color: Clear amber
  • Finish: Gloss
  • Coverage: 150 to 300 sq.ft/liter

    I used Epifanes on the wood trim on all my boats and on the deck of my classic cabin cruiser. Now I'm also using it on some of the natural wood trim on the house. It outlasts all other types of varnish and looks fabulous. No yellowing, cracking, peeling.
