Comments about Stud Terminals:
I had a boatyard friend cut the forestay on my old CAL 25' (1978) since it remain too loose, even after tightening the backstay to tension. We shortened the cable, and reswaged with the Norseman Swageless 'piece'. Mission accomplished. Nice quality of a machine shop finished piece. The forestay is at a normal tension, now. I also replaced the turnbuckle and deck toggle connection. She's as good as new, now. I expect that this upgrade will improve sail performance.
