I have the rail mount version, which comes with all the hardware needed. I use it to hold my stern light. It holds it securely even in very rough conditions.

Yeah no mounting hardware included, but you can see that in the package. Probably not included depending on how people plan on mounting it. I used this in my forward storage area under the deck on a Carolina Skiff 198DLV. Holds the stern light pole securely in storage and does not fall out during a rough ride. Would def recommend to others.
