Be aware that installing this requires having ample room to mount the flange to the trailer -- and that you will be drilling a decent-sized hole through that trailer. I didn't have enough clearance. I didn't have enough room on my bow hook for both the winch hook and this hefty one. And I didn't feel like drilling a big hole into a thick-walled galvanized trailer.

Use these retractable tie down straps to hold my heavy duty boat to the trailer. The straps do not have to be removed and stored when launching my boat. They are stainless steel, so no worries about corrosion.

These will save you time not having to store the tie downs when you launch and look for them when you load. I use my boat almost year round, either fishing or hunting both lakes and rivers. If you move from one location to another like we do, thses are awsome. Just load the boat, ratchet it down and go. If your like me and like to make sure your straps don't overlap, as long as these are mounted correctly that won't be a problem and even if they do, it can be fixed in seconds.

This product makes launching & retrieving our boat so much easier. At the end of the day we just want to load & go- This makes it happen. Dont have to get out the transom & bow straps.We bolted these loosely so that they swivel. tying down is so quick and easy.
