Comments about Mushroom Anchors:
If you plan to replace your Anchor then get something you can depend on and know it will always do the job. I never have too worry if were drifted to close too the shores or if we are not hook up for fishing. Once you find your fishing spot, you want too make sure your then until you catch your limit. If your anchor does not keep in place, then you have too keep resetting the anchor. Time is important and when you set the anchor your fishing. Its important to make that first hook up when your on the fish. Well its all up to what it hook on too, we have been very lucky too hook up everytime. When your ready too move. The anchor comes up from the bottom without any problem. Well in thick muddy bottom, it really sink into the mud. The mud does not get hung up like the other anchor we had. The mud just falls off that easy and that quick. The anchor is used on a 17" boat, and its always seems too drift with the old anchor. I say go for it! As we say in the Marine Corps! SEMPER FI..meaning "ALWAYS FAITHFUL!"
