Comments about Battery Hold Down Trays:
Studs are too short for group 27 battery- even the cheap battery mounts are tall enough! Since the stud threads are roll-formed, they cannot be threaded down enough to be cut off to add threaded extenders. Have to purchase threaded rod and make my own.

Comments about Battery Hold Down Trays:
I have used these in cars and boats and they work well! Great product for the money. My local store closed so now I have to order them off the website but I haven't found anything local that compares.

Comments about Battery Hold Down Trays:
I have a house battery bank of two Lifeline batteries and a group 27 deep cycle used for starting and last resort. The life line batteries have extra tall roofing across the middle. By a simple cut to the extra wide plate on the battery hold down, I got a perfect fit. The bolts are stainless and the whole affair is plenty strong for being kicked around in a boat.

Comments about Battery Hold Down Trays:
If you have the taller group 27 battery then product is unusable!!!!I have 2 new group 27 batteries and they are to tall for the tray. My advise is to measure the height of your batteries before purchasing. If you have the shorter version then this is a excellent product.
