Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
I have a 32 ft cruiser whitch had about 6 layers of antifouling in places. the stripper did remove about 3 coats per application, bought 4 gallons and have 1 left. After stripping there still requires alot of sanding.
next time will bite the bullet andd soda blast it, it would have been cheaper and alot less labour intensive. But if labour is not an issue it does what it claims

Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
I was hoping for an easier way to get varnich drips and runs from the non skid gelcoat on a 30ft sailboat. I'm going to leave it on overnight and see if that works.

Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
Iwould not reccomend this product. It barely touched the clearcoat on my fiberglass hoodscoop. Didnt do anything to the basecoat. Hours of sanding are now needed. Waste of [$]
Pros
- Does not burn skin
- Easy to Use
- No noxious odors
Cons
- Not as strong as some
Best Uses
- Removing paint
Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
I use it to strip bottom paint. It's nice to be able to strip under the boat with out worrying about whether you get the product on you or not. Easy on the skin and nose. While on some of the thicker paint it may take two coats; it still beats the heck out of sanding. Note: Works best if you read and follow the instructions and stir it good before application. Three gallons will do a 23 foot sailboat....Not bad for a "Green" product.

Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
Product well surpassed my expectations! I am skeptical of the so called "bio/eco friendly" cleaners, but this one works like a champ. Easy clean up, easy application. I did need to do a secong coat on the water line but thats to be expected. Would definetly recommend in the future.

Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
I believe those having trouble with this product are not adhering to the directions on the label. It says 60-80* and minimum 4 hours. I used it on an old McKee and could not have been happier. Three layers came off right to the gel coat. No fumes, no burning skin, easy to clean, doesn't hurt gel coat. I love this stuff. I am usually a non-believer when it comes to the performance of eco-friendly products, but this one performs.

Comments about Marine Paint Remover:
This remover only took off one layer of paint at a time, not the 5 layers it was supposed to. I would not recomend it if you have multiple (more than 1) layers of bottom paint to remove.
