The double-ended zipper includes a gusset for easy relief when you need it. Water-resistant knee and seat patches include internal abrasion-free seams to prevent damage to you or anything else, and extra-wide Velcro® ankle closures provide easy-in, easy-out convenience. I was taught to not say anything at all if I couldn't say anything nice.
So here goes my nice review of the Musto BR1 bibs.
The knife pouch, nice touch, wasn't looking for it. Decided to use it. The knife stayed in the pouch when the loop broke and it fell to the deck the second time I was wearing them, while motoring, in calm conditions.
The bibs themselves soak up water nicely and dry quickly. They are described as waterproof, not sure if the makers were sure what that meant. Used them for 2 Midwinter races, legs showed mild water repellancy characteristics. Used for again in rougher conditions, upper section of bibs didn't let the water bead off as they sucked the water in like a parched desert landscape.
I am 5'9" The large size set at the largest suspender length makes me sing like a soprano. Never knew I could get that high.
