These fender covers are not UV protected. They fade from a beutiful dark blue to a washed out blue in a couple of months. I'm bringing mine back for a refund.

Love these covers. Best looking and fitting cover on the market. I would not recommend using these for a boat that is moored all the time. I could see how the color may fade if left out all summer.

These fender covers are the best looking I've seen. They fit well and are quite attractive when new. The claim that that they are are UV protected and fade resistant is simply not true. Ours faded from a dark Royal blue to a washed out denim in about 3 months. The grommet at the top of the fender is unprotected brass and will corrode in a few weeks. The grommet should be stainless steel. If they fixed the fading problem I would give this item four stars. If the grommet was stainless steel I would give it five stars.
