This luggage is all you need for your captain, passengers, and crew. Each bag is sturdily constructed of 600 denier Poly with water-resistant coating, and has a durable black polyurethane bottom that protects against water and abrasion. A full storm flap over the zippers protects the bag’s contents from weather. Contains self-repairing, non corrosive zippers and internal identity tags, and all-around compression straps secure your belongings through the toughest of baggage handlers. The larger bags include non-marking quiet rolling wheels and stair guards. Reflective detailing easily identifies your bag on the luggage carousel or in a heap of gear in the hold! Navy/Silver. Imported.
The Crew Duffel Bags have a large U-shaped opening to the large main compartment for easy entry, and the handles adjust to a backpack, with removable padded shoulder straps. Gusseted end pockets offer ventilation, and a pass-through panel on the back stacks onto rolling luggage handles when needed. A shoe garage on one end of the duffel allows you to separate soiled from clean items, and a hidden quick clip attaches to the front of rolling luggage, leaving the handle area free.

Comments about Crew Duffel Bags:
I belong to a sailing club and sail their boats. The mid-sized bag is perfect for bringing aboard all the items I might need for the day with room to spare. The side and front pockets hold smaller items so they aren't lost in the main compartment. The top zip for the main compartment gives a great view of the interior and makes it easy to get at everything. The shoe holder is a nice touch, although I haven't used it yet.
While I haven't used it for overnight, it would certainly hold anything needed for an overnight stay and for great packers it would work for a weekend too.
I own 2 of these and am very happy with them.

Comments about Crew Duffel Bags:
I received this bag as a Christmas gift, and find it to be nearly perfect in all regards. Sturdy zippers, tough fabric, multiple compartments, and even a place to segregate dirty sneakers/boat shoes. The handles are securely sewn in, and the shoulder strap is long enough! It's at least four years old and still looks like new.

Comments about Crew Duffel Bags:
I bought this just before a weekend sailing clinic and it was everything I had hoped. I bought the large and there was plenty of room for my foul weather gear, extra clothes and everything else. The compartments helped me organize my stuff for easy retrieval and keep the dry things dry. This is a thoughtfully designed product.

Cons
- Inside pockets too small

Comments about Crew Duffel Bags:
Pretty much what I expected. Good size. The shoe garage is a plus. Definately looks like it will keep thing dry. Side pocket intended for wet items is really too shallow for anything more than a bathing suit. Inside pockets not very usefull.

Comments about Crew Duffel Bags:
I bought the small crew bag as a replacement for my 30 yr old Addidas leather gym bag that I have used to shuttle my clothing back and forth to the boat (and everywhere else for that matter). I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
I opted for the small bag as it was close in size to my old gym bag and I wanted something small enough to travel with in any aircraft size.
The West Marine bag is much better at top loading clothing than I thought it would be with it's U-shaped flap. The fabric used and zippers appear to be of top quality. The heavy webbing carrying straps are a big asset. A padded shoulder strap is included. The expandable end pouch is a plus for your dirty laundry. The inside pouches are great to stow thinner items such as a passport and other small documents. The outside compartments provide for items of about 2-3 inches in thickness.
If you are looking for a small versatile bag, this one should be on your consideration list.
Service and delivery comments:
I ordered the small crew bag as part of a larger order using the internet. Delivery was ship to a friend's home. Shipping was tracked and the products arrived on time and in excellent condition.

West Marine's Crew Duffel Bag is as good as they say it is. The separate compartment for dirty or wet clothing is absolutely great. The bag is durable and looks nice. They thought of everything.
