Ultima® SR-40 utilizes a high cuprous oxide load (40%) combined with the
power of Irgarol to offer outstanding dual biocide, multi-season control in all
types of fouling. It employs a unique controlled erosion technology to minimize
coating build-up and keep underwater surfaces smooth. Its ablative surface wears
away with use providing a continuous supply of fresh biocides while eliminating
the need for sanding. Ultima® SR-40 contains PTFE for added performance and
reduced friction. It can be hauled and re-launched
without repainting. Formerly sold as Ultima® SR and Horizons® Pro, this formula
has a proven track record as one of America’s premium ablative bottom paints.
Ultima® SR-40 is an excellent choice for power or sailboats with fiberglass,

Comments about Ultima SR 40 Paint:
I tried using Sr40 after a friend told me about it, I simply got tired of the price of micron extra. the sr40 has the same active ingredientsfor about 50 bucks less. based on my friends success I gave it a shot , worked even better , lasts longer . In no way is this a generic formula or knock off . a good product indeed .too bad its not marketed or known by many. had to special order it through web as store did not have it on shelf.worth the wait

Comments about Ultima SR 40 Paint:
I've used Micron Extra for years, but after talking to a Pettit rep at my local boat show he told me about Ultima SR-40, it has more copper and more slime fighter in it than Micron Extra for about 60 bucks less! How could I go wrong, so I tried it and will never look back, Great Product!!!
