Brighten your boat with multi-season protection that lasts!
Neither an ablative, nor a hard-epoxy paint, this bright-colored, hybrid combines the qualities of both to provide excellent multi-season protection against marine growth. Unlike a hard epoxy paint, it can be hauled and re-launched without loss of effectiveness. Attractive colors and abrasion resistance make it a great choice for trailered boats whose owners want to look sharp while not having to worry about their trailer bunks rubbing the paint off. Sailboat racers appreciate the fact that it can be burnished ultra smooth and it is also excellent for antifouling outdrives and underwater metals.

Comments about ViViD Bright Colored Hybrid Antifouling Paint:
I have owned a fiberglass boat for 10 years. I keep it in the water at a lake all summer. Each year, I would have the marina winterized the boat and power clean the bottom. Then in the spying, I would bring the boat home and spend a week cleaning the bottom. Last year, I became desperate and decided to use the Pettit vivid to do the bottom. I left the boat in the lake from March to Nov. when I pulled it out, I was amazed at the condition. The only fouling I had was at the waterline. I did not pay to have the bottom power cleaned and it took me less tha three hours to clean the water line. I intend to spend some time recoating the bottom this year because I will take no chance on the three coats I put on last year.wearing down. In past years, the boat performance suffered badly by fall. Last year there was no appreciable degradation .

Comments about ViViD Bright Colored Hybrid Antifouling Paint:
I put this on my sailboat as year ago; it applied easy and looked great. The boat has been in fresh water the whole time. But....I recently noticed that the paint has worn thin at the waterline, and I can see the old paint coming through. I admit that I like to keep the waterline clean, so I do brush it regularly, and that may have caused the paint to wear off too quick, but either way, I'm not happy about it. I'm going to haul it out next week and repaint. If the rest of the bottom still looks good (no growth, and not excessively worn) then I will use it again and just be careful about scrubbing the waterline too much. I hate to switch paints, as you never know how they will react, or if the new paint will adhere properly to the different brand. But if the rest of the bottom looks like the waterline, then I will not be using it again. So for now, my review is not good, I've never had a bottom paint wear off so quick, and I've always been one to scrub the waterline a lot.

Comments about ViViD Bright Colored Hybrid Antifouling Paint:
Product used in western Lake Erie and has proven to be the best paint I have used in 32 years of boating these waters. Four years since first application and has only required water line touch up. Vivid White has remained just that!

Comments about ViViD Bright Colored Hybrid Antifouling Paint:
This is the best product I've ever used, goes on nice, has clean bright colors and works great for my trailered boat. Its a hard surface that slickens up in the water making it faster and more fuel efficient. I use it on both my Sea Ray and Catalina. Here's a tip, put it on with a 3/16" nap roller. Looks great!
