This stuff really works. Pulled the boat out of the Potomac River July 2012 and power washed it which didn't do much at all to remove scum line and heavy algae build-up. Boat sat until this June in storage. Bought this stuff and brushed it on and stains, scum line and baked on algae disappeared. This will be on my shelf from now on, it's great to find something that works as advertised.

Just follow the directions, brush it on and watch the yellow scum lines disappear. Hadn't cleaned my white hull bass boat in 2 years and this product stripped the yellow right off, 2 applications in the really heavy spots but very easy to use. Did the entire underside of a 21' bass boat in 2 hours. Great stuff, don't waste your money on other products that you work harder to apply and they don't do near what this product does. It's so easy I'll clean the boat a couple times a year. Buying the gallon next time since I know this stuff is the bomb. Great Product West Marine.

Purchased On and Off on recommendation of West Marine. Was assured it would "instantly" remove everything from barnacle cement to waterline stains. It did neither. Made NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever on any stain! Will try to get refund from WM.

Brush it on, rinse it off. Took 2seasons of brown stain right with little effort. Great stuff just don't breathe it in.

I must say I was extremely skeptical about this product as most of the reviews were saying it was basically a miracle cure. Well, it is!!! I am so happy with it. It took off my water scum line with no effort! I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I live in Coastal North Carolina where the brackish water can leave a nasty scum line in just one outing. I had let it go for an entire summer and the scum line was very sore to look at. I tried several house hold cleaning products including bleach components and it didn't even budge the stains. I bought On&Off hull cleaner, put (non-diluted) into a spray bottle, and sprayed one application around the hull and watched the scum line disappear. I rinsed with water and the hull looked brand new again. The chemicals are very potent, and if windy can be difficult to spray downstream of wind. I would suggest picking a calm day to apply and wear long sleeves and some type of aspirator. Awesome Product!

I recommend adding this product to a spray bottle. Use a small scrub brush for the heavy areas. You will need to use a well ventilated area an/ or mask and gloves. It works just as directed. I could literally see the scum line come off within seconds of applying. Be sure to wash/wax after use and your boat will look good as new.

We had stubborn algae stains on our PWC from several years of neglect. I tried a ton of different cleaners and nothing would cut it. A helpful associate at West Marine recommended this stuff and it absolutely works!!! I put some in a spray bottle and as soon as it hit the hull you could see it immediately dissolve the stains. I did small areas and washed it off immediately with a lot of water. So easy to use. I recommend that you read the directions and warnings, this is an acid-based product! Avoid getting it on any non-fiberglass materials. I got a small amount on my sponsons and it left white spots, however, it did not affect the decals.
