My 5 year old (now six) did not enjoy wearing a life jacket until I let her pick this one out. Now she is excited to wear one (which I require on the boat and/or on the dock). Due to large arm holes, it does ride up when playing in the water. Otherwise a great life vest.

We got this for my son before our pool/beach vacation last year. He was 3. He loved wearing it and it gave him the freedom to play in the pool without being held all the time. A year later he still loves it and wears it willingly. His only complaint is the between-the-leg strap which sometims is uncomfortable. As an added bonus, he pretends it's a jet-pack when he is playing spaceman!

This product works good. my child likes the designs, but she wanted actual Disney characters. We use it for my child to swim in the pool, it does exactly what its suppose to. The only thing that irritated her about it was the ride up strap, she said it hurt her when she jumped in the pool, I wish it was padded!
