I purchased this light to use for night navigation on my small fishing boat. It is very bright, but the operation design is flawed. To turn the light on, just pull the trigger. Pretty simple. But to turn the light off, you must pull the trigger two times to go through each operation mode. First pull turns on light to the high mode. Second pull of trigger switches to low mode, and the third pull puts it in SOS mode. When I want to turn the light off, I want it off now, not have the light stay on then start flashing wreaking havoc on my night vision. A simple on/off operation is what is needed.
