I store my convertible in an unfinished, unheated garage from October-April in the Cascade Mountains. The garage drops below freezing and then thaws, with another car dripping snowmelt everywhere, so I can't leave much around without it getting a thin coat of mildew or at least a smell. Running this little heater inside the roadster all winter has kept it mildew-free and pristine for the past five years.

We had a dehumidifier, one that drains water and what a mess. Used it in the shower which proved to be the wrong idea.
We now have put one in a gun room which does a great job to keep rust away.

We purchased this unit to keep the moisture out of our 26 foot sailboat during sailing season. The unit is very quiet while running and does not take up much space. The unit is warm when operating, but not so hot it can't be touched.

The Air Dryer worked well in a smaller compartment, will try a larger area. Easy to use and relatively quiet. I'll probably get another one.
