I live on a barrier island and refuse to get dressed up for anybody. I generally wear shorts, tee shirt and boat shoes 365 days out of the year. I was very pleased to find these shorts online though I was a little leery of ordering them without actually touching them first.
It turned out I needn't have worried. Although my first impression was that these shorts were perhaps too light, actually wearing them has taken away any concerns. These are *very* comnfortable.

I think the mens medium is more for 28"-30" waist size. I wear a 32" waist and the elaastic was stretched to the max.
