Comments about Men's Keelboat Racer Trousers:
According to the sizing chart, I am on the cusp between the small and extra small. I order the small, and returned it because it was too big. I order the extra small and it was too big. Returned it as well.
The sizing charts are very inaccurate for smaller sizes. The measurements on the XS that I received was a 36 inch waist and no method to tighten up. It measured 42" in the hips. I have a 31" inseam but the XS was too long for me.
Service and delivery comments:

Comments about Men's Keelboat Racer Trousers:
Though this is an excellent pant in all other aspects the one major let down that I can't believe Gill has slipped up on is the very small opening size of the "P flap". Trying to get a mans sized hand and appendage through the small opening is nothing less than a very tight squeeze that makes using the flap very awkward and almost unusable. Men will understand this problem. IMO this seems unbelievable that Gill could make the opening so small. I owned a 2011 pair of the same pants and the "P flap" opening was twice as big as the 2012 model so they were very good to use.... not so on the 2012 model... watch out men! Though I would not recommend this pant to a (male) friend it is only for this reason that lets it down. I have been in extreme rain conditions and the pants kept me dry and comfortable so they pass the test in all other aspects. If the flap was bigger I would award the pant a 5 Star.

Merchant response: Sir - We checked with Gill and they state that from the 2011 to 2012 model the gusset was reduced from 6" to 5-1/2". To minimize the effects of this alteration please consider that layering choices have an effect -- jeans can add bulk and difficulty (matching zipper to gusset for instance) compared to polypropylene/fleece undergarments which have easier access.
