These shorts are just what I have been looking for. Comfortable, stylish and well made. I'm not one who ever purchased shorts with elastic waist bands but these are very nice to wear, especially if you are one who borders on the next size up. I bought a pair at the local West Marine store and thought I would give them a try. Liked them so much I ordered three additional colors. They arrived very quickly and they all fit perfectly.
Normally I don't spend this much money for a pair of shorts but remember, you get what you pay for. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Purchased these shorts for my husband when he needed an extra set of shorts at the lake. Surprisingly these shorts fit well and were very comfortable. He and I especially like that the pocket flaps don't curl up during washing and drying so they don't have to be ironed flat. Also, the pocket bottom front corners have mesh to allow them to drain easily if they get wet. We are very pleased with these shorts.

did not like the elastic waiste band a 34 is easily a 36 to possibly 37-38
